Reinventing Work: Developing a "Next Stage" Organisation 16/11/2018 DBEC
Posted on 1st January, 2018 in General
This one-day workshop will explore the growing global phenomenon of ‘next stage’ organisations as identified by Frederic Laloux in his book “Reinventing Organisations” in which he considers the new management paradigm which successful businesses have adopted around the world. These organisations are more productive, have less staff turnover, better customer satisfaction and can deliver 40% cost savings.
This workshop is designed to introduce the participants to Laloux’s research, and will provide useful insights especially for organisations with a tendency to:
· Drain life and energy out of the workplace
· Be bureaucratic or lacking purpose
· Leave staff feeling frustrated or disempowered
The day will be provocative and will open up a debate for leaders and staff to consider how their businesses can be more resilient, more effective and happier environments. The content will be similar to that used at Exeter and Leeds business schools.
